Max Fose / President & CEO

Max Fose is the President and CEO of IWS, a national advertising and public affairs firm with offices in Phoenix, Arizona and Alexandria, Virginia. His work on behalf of the firm’s business, public affairs, government, and non-profit clients has been recognized by news publications such as The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report, Newsweek, The Industry Standard, Interactive Week, The Washington Post and Forbes ASAP.

Max has shared his expertise widely through appearances on ABC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, CNN, MSNBC, C-Span, the News Hour on PBS, and many international outlets. He speaks frequently on topics ranging from effective messaging and digital strategy to the opportunities of using social media. He co-authored The Internet and Campaigns: Interactively Empowering Citizens for the Chicago Policy Review and served as a Practitioner in Residence at the Institute for Politics, Democracy, and the Internet at George Washington University. In addition, for two years, Max Fose was an Expert Panelist for the Congress Online Project that studied and recommended best Internet practices to the United States Congress.

Max was recognized by Politics Online, Harvard University and the American Association of Political Consultants as one of the 25 Internet professionals who are changing the world of politics.

Max Fose is a current board member of The Phoenix Symphony and All Saints’ Episcopal Day School. His civic involvement also includes having served on the boards of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona and Esperanza, participating in the Anti-Defamation League’s Glass Leadership Program, and serving on the City of Phoenix’s Alhambra Village Planning Committee.

Max Fose is a graduate of Grand Canyon University where he recently was inducted into their Alumni Hall of Fame. He resides in Phoenix with his wife Shannon and their children.

Paul McKay / Creative & Strategic Director

As a partner in IWS and head of day-to-day operations, Paul serves as our clients’ chief advocate in ensuring that goals are met, schedules are kept and budgets adhered to, as well as acting as the Creative Director. With more than 15 years’ experience in public affairs and marketing serving non-profits and trade associations as well as corporate clients, he makes sure every IWS client gets the best work possible when it comes to function, content and design.

Prior to joining IWS, Paul launched and served as Vice President of the Interactive Division of Home Front Communications, a full-service agency, where he recruited and managed a team of web developers, designers and producers. Under his leadership, the agency enjoyed a dramatic growth from the Interactive practice. Paul’s clients included the American Red Cross, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Gates Foundation, the American Association of Railroads, the Generic Pharmaceutical Association, the Ad Council and the Department of Homeland Security.

Paul was previously Vice President for Integrated Web Strategy overseeing design and development for the firm throughout the early part of the decade. Paul also owned and operated the graphic design studio, Cambigue Design, whose client list included the Panetta Institute, National Juvenile Justice Network Center and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. He graduated from the George Washington University and the University of Arizona.

Colin Shipley / Public Affairs

As the Director of Public Affairs, Colin takes the lead for our public affairs clients guiding their efforts to success. These clients have included national trade organizations, governors, the State of Arizona, the City of Glendale, and the Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Prior to joining IWS, Colin served as Community Relations Manager for Arizona Governor Jan Brewer where he was responsible for planning and coordinating events, travel and outreach efforts for the governor. Previously, as Political Director of the Arizona Republican Party, Colin was responsible for developing and implementing a statewide voter registration plan and GOTV efforts.

Colin also served as a Special Assistant for former Secretary of Transportation Mary E. Peters in Washington, D.C. Colin is a second-generation Arizonan and earned his degree from Arizona State University.

Jen McGlasson / Operations Manager

You know how every place has one person who does a little bit of everything – and keeps the place running? At IWS, that’s Jen McGlasson.

Jen ensures that the IWS team can keep up with the ebb and flow of business by managing our operations, accounts receivable and human resources.

Prior to IWS, Jen worked as the Special Assistant to the Arizona Secretary of State where she wrote speeches, advanced events and handled the Secretary’s calendar. Later, she joined Hospice of the Valley, handling Public Relations, the Speakers Bureau and the organization’s various monthly publications. She also managed its Internet and Intranet content. Jen got her first taste of political and legislative public affairs at HighGround.

As a graduate from Arizona State University in Broadcasting, her background allows her to bring a fresh perspective to IWS’ projects – and helps her make sure every aspect of the business is running smoothly.

Stephanie Saccente / Account Manager

As an Manager, Stephanie uses her strong background in writing and communication to ensure the client’s message is conveyed effectively across all platforms.

Prior to IWS, Stephanie worked for several media organizations where she wrote and edited content, managed social media accounts and led website updates. She also interned for Senator John McCain in his Phoenix office.

Stephanie now uses her experience to create innovative strategies for clients to best reach their audiences.

Stephanie graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Journalism and a minor in Economics. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Nicole Young / Graphic Designer

Nicole is an award winning graphic designer that has designed creative elements for all advertising mediums. This range includes the graphics used in the agency’s TV production, content videos, outdoor, print and digital. She has produced award winning website designs, executive reports for Fortune 100 companies, logos for well known brands, print materials for well known health systems in Arizona, and digital ads for The Phoenix Symphony.

Her government experience includes work for the Office of the Attorney General, the Governor’s Office of Education Excellence, First Things First, Maricopa Integrated Health Systems, the City of Glendale, and the Town of Paradise Valley. Nicole is a native to Phoenix and is an alumni of Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in visual communication design.

Before IWS, Daniel worked for Arizona PBS and the Arizona Diamondbacks creating branded video content for online, television, and in-stadium audiences.   
 
Daniel is a graduate of Arizona State University where he majored in journalism and mass communication and minored in political science. In his free time, Daniel enjoys experimenting with new recipes, discovering hidden gems in unfamiliar places, and playing the ukulele.

Shannon Fose / Director of Special Projects

Shannon joined the IWS team to increase the focus on organizational excellence. As Director of Special Projects, Shannon supports and challenges the team in its efforts to provide exceptional client service and produce a superior product while implementing best business practices.

Shannon's career began at the Phoenix-based, full-service advertising agency, Riester where she honed her ability to forecast client needs and adapt to environmental challenges. More recently she supported event plans for the Scottsdale League for the Arts, the host of the long-running Scottsdale Culinary Festival. This position included the execution of 12 fundraisers over six consecutive days with more than 90 vendors and 40,000 plus guests.

After earning her bachelors degree in Advertising and Rhetorical Advocacy with a minor in Psychology from Purdue University, Shannon moved to the warmer Arizona climate where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Three years of Digital Marketing Agency experience, along with her previous experience across various verticals from Finance to Construction have given her a strong grasp of the needs of different industries, as she continuously grows and hones her skills as a Digital Marketer.
Megan studied English Linguistics at Arizona State University and is passionate about language, writing, and the science of human interaction. When she’s not studying the latest trends, working, or sleeping, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking her dog to the dog park, cooking, and exploring areas she’s never been before.

An Arizona native, Shelby attended Arizona State University where she studied Communication and Media Analysis. She began her career as Digital Marketing Strategist at Barrett-Jackson where she managed editorial planning and social media marketing. Coming from the fast-paced world of live events, she’s found herself quite at home in the swiftly moving agency atmosphere. When she’s away from the office, Shelby enjoys road trips, photography and cuddling cats.

Prior to joining IWS, she gained sales and account management experience in the New York fine art world before heading to a digital marketing agency.  She prides herself on being a friendly and reliable resource for her clients and takes a vested interest in helping them communicate with a wider audience. 
 
Having graduated with a degree in Art History from Georgetown University, Margot is an art-lover at heart. A Washington, D.C. native, she is an avid Washington Capitals fan and political news junkie.

Rachel is an Account Manager positioned in Washington D.C. where she delivers project management for clients that both engages stakeholders and enhances reputation. Rachel has experience providing day-to-day account management for a range of corporate, non-profit and foundation clients, offering strategic communications recommendations, project management, event management, content development and programming.

Rachel began her career at Weber Shandwick, where she supported thought leadership and corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts while providing project management for a broad range of clients. In 2016, she graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.A. in Communications Studies and Journalism. Rachel is an avid reader who loves a good piece of literature and spending time in the great outdoors.
